Kablalax is a sub-clan of the larger Daarood clan, one of the largest Somali clans. The Kablalax are primarily located in the northeastern region of Somalia, particularly in the Sool and Sanaag regions.
Historically, the Kablalax were pastoralists, relying on livestock such as camels, cows, and sheep for their livelihood. They were known for their skills in animal husbandry and their ability to survive in harsh desert environments.
In recent years, the Kablalax have been caught up in the violence and conflict that has plagued Somalia. This has led many members of the clan to flee their homes and seek refuge in neighboring countries such as Ethiopia and Kenya.
Despite the challenges they have faced, the Kablalax continue to maintain their cultural identity and traditional way of life. Today, they are an integral part of the Somali society, contributing to the country's economy and cultural heritage.
